Welcome to the Guild Library Inventory web pages. The library is available to all SVIPG members at the monthly meetings.
The inventory is listed in four ways: by author, by title, by registration number and by main topic. Library books and DVDs/Videos are stored on the shelves in order of registration number. Once you find an item you want to borrow, just make a note of the registration number (assuming it’s not already on loan) to help you find the item on the shelves.
As a reminder - library items are loaned from one meeting to another, a courtesy renewal can be offered only once and only if you contact one of the librarian committee before the meeting to make the request (see contact page). A mandatory ‘library contribution’ fee of $5 is charged for each month an item is overdue. The library uses these contributions to invest in new items for the library.
Suggestions and recommendations for new items, either by specific item or topic are welcome and may be made to Helen Pedneault at helen.pedneault@shaw.ca. Donations to the library are welcome but may be declined with thanks if a sufficient number of the same item is already in the library. These items make happy contributions to the raffle or silent auctions.
