Welcome to the Guild Library Inventory web pages.
The library is available to all SVIPG members at the monthly meetings.
Resources are loaned on a one-month basis.
Suggestions for new books/DVD items may be e-mailed to the Librarian for consideration.
The inventory is listed in four ways: by registration number, by author, by title and by main topic. Library books and DVDs/Videos are stored on the shelves in order of registration number. Once you find an item you want to borrow, just make a note of the registration number (assuming it’s not already on loan) to help you find the item on the shelves.
To sign out resources: On the library card, print your name & the date signed-out (card is inside front, or back of books or DVD). Place the card in the ‘Signed-Out’ box, in numerical order. When returning place the card back in the resource item and refile the book/DVD in numerical order.
Suggestions and recommendations for new items, either by specific item or topic are welcome and may be made to Nancy Wall. Donations to the library are welcome but may be declined with thanks if a sufficient number of the same item is already in the library. These items make happy contributions to the raffle or silent auctions.
